Ravine Ranch Breeds Registered Canadian Sport Horses

January 2017

A large, family run breeding farm, Ravine Ranch combines Dutch Warmblood, Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Irish Sport Horse, Thoroughbred and Thoroughbred-cross bloodlines to produce sound, athletic, brave and willing registered Canadian Sport Horses. “Our number one criteria for our breeding program is temperament and rideability,” said Deb King, who with her husband Doug owns Ravine Ranch Sport Horses. “Our horses continue to amaze us. Clients, trainers and judges continually tell us they are one in a million for their gentle and willing dispositions and easy going, no-spook attitudes.”

Ravine Ranch Sport Horses excel in the hunter, jumper and dressage arena and on the event field; many have become AA and AAA hunter and jumper champions. “Our horses are scopey with lots of jump, they are athletic and very brave,” said King.

Doug and Deb King are happy to help clients choose the exact type and style of horse they require. They have a large selection of young prospects to choose from. Ravine Ranch, located in Manitoba, Canada, is also happy to help with the details of importing and shipping your purchase.

The Kings have previously shown their stallions and are currently showing some of their offspring in hunter/jumper shows. “We take great joy in the horses we raise and tremendous satisfaction in matching our prospects with the correct owner to produce a happy and lasting partnership,” King said.
