Once-a-Year Chance to Ride Cheshire Hunt Country

April 2017

Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds Pony Club will host their annual Spring paper chase on Sunday, April 23 with a rain date of April 30. The paper chase will be 7-9 miles over beautiful Cheshire Hunt country. The majority of the land where the paper chase takes place is permanently eased land that is only assessable to subscribers of the Cheshire Hunt, who have eased their property. This is a once a year opportunity for those outside of the hunt to ride over this land.

All proceeds from the paper chase go to supporting lessons and clinics for the Pony Club members. The paper chase will start at 10 a.m. with the last horse on course at 2 p.m.

The location is Irwin’s Gate: 101 Green Lawn Rd. Cochranville, PA. You will find Irwin’s Gate 1.5 miles west of Rt. 841 and .2 miles east of Derry Meeting Road.
