Bridge Acres Stable is Where Dreams Come True

April 2017

Searching for a show series or a summer camp for the dedicated young equestrian? Look no further than scenic Bridge Acres Stable in Lancaster, PA. Shows feature hunter and equitation classes and a $300 prize hunter derby. All Bridge Acres shows are qualifiers for the Colonial Classic up to the cutoff date. The local champions’ finals take place at the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA, over Labor Day weekend. The May 20, June 24 and July 15 shows are qualifiers for the Freedom Series.

New this year at Bridge Acres are T.I.P. Hunter divisions. Year-end awards total $9,000.

Bridge Acres Stable’s 2017 summer camp program dates are June 12-16, June 19-23, July 10-14, and July 24-28. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 am until 3 pm. Each day, campers ride for two hours, eat a lunch provided from home, do crafts, go on scavenger hunts, paint horse shoes, and much more. Field trips to the blacksmith to watch him work on horseshoes and to the vet for important questions about veterinary care will delight and educate campers. Campers must be at least six years old and no older than thirteen years old to participate. No riding experience is necessary, and campers may sign up for more than one week of camp.
